In lieu of our normal worship service, every 5th Sunday we share a meal together instead. (EASTER was on the 5th Sunday so we pushed the meal back a week!)

We live in an increasingly graceless culture. A culture of competition in which we’re all trying to get ahead. A culture of insecurity in which we’re all trying to prove ourselves. A culture of spite in which we hold grudges, envy success, protect ourselves. A culture of political hostility in which we're all creating caricatures of the other side. (Yeah, we just went there!) Sharing a meal together offers us a moment of grace.

Bring food from your culture!

Being one in Christ doesn’t make us all the same or erase our ethnicity. Instead, we’re able to celebrate the beautiful diversity of God’s people.

So, what can you bring? We ask that you bring a dish that your family loves. If it is a food that celebrates your ethnicity or culture, we’d be honored if you shared it with the church. If you don't have time to prepare anything or it's your first time to join us, no problem. We still want you to come! We'll have plenty!

What about kids? They get to eat too. No childcare so we encourage you to bring a portable seat for young ones!
