DATES: Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9 (come for one or two nights).

LOCATION: Conifer - campsite on private land. It is about an hour and 15-minute drive from Park Hill with no traffic.

DIRECTIONS: Take Foxton Rd exit off Co Hwy 285, which is just past Conifer shopping center with Staples supply, then 7 miles on Foxton Rd. to the stop sign at the N Fork of S Platte River. Go right at the stop sign. Go approximately 150 yards then turn right on Resort Creek Rd. Then after about another 150 yards, take the hard right hairpin turn at mailboxes, go 2 mi on Resort Cr Rd to barns and corral. 

Go left at the fork at the big barn. Campsite #3 - is the last campsite so keep driving to the back - about .75 of a mile pass the barn. It's a bumpy dirt road so it will take you about 15 minutes to get to site 3. Keep going! Look for my white Infiniti SUV. This map pin will get you really close. 

No cell service after leaving Hwy 285

COST: $30/person. This will cover the per person registration fee as well as four meals.

AMENITIES: Located at an elevation of 7200’, the views are spectacular. On Saturday, those who are interested can join in a moderate hike or go fishing or hangout along the S. Platte River. There is a porta-potty and clean drinking water. There are good trees for hammocks.

MEALS: Once we have confirmed the total number, we’ll be able to plan meals better.

WARNING: You will be off the grid and without cell phone coverage or internet access. 

RECOMMENDATIONS OF WHAT TO BRING: Food, camping equipment, layered clothing (it gets cold at night and warm during the day), chairs, hiking/tennis shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, flashlights, hats, wipes, games and a CAMERA!
No gear? No problem! If you don’t have camping equipment, you can still join us. We’ll have plenty!
