“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Jesus
While we’re not giving up our lives to serve, we still think serving represents the kingdom of God well. Let’s join together to love our city! We'll be working with the City of Denver to clean up Martin Luther King Jr Park (NOTE: this park is next to the Martin Luther King Recreation Center at Newport/38th. There is another “MLK Park” on Syracuse). We’ll be picking up debris and trash.
Bring the entire family! There is a playground and open space where kids can play. Some kids depending on their age can also help with cleanup.
Don't forget to bring the following.
Work Gloves (we will have extra)
Water Bottle
Wear Sunscreen/hat
Sturdy Footwear
We'll end with a cookout.
Your RSVP will help us know how much food to prepare!
